Winter holiday in the Nassfeld ski resort

Carinthia’s largest ski resort is directly at our front door. It only takes 10 minutes from our castle to Nassfeld. Plenty of "nice surprise" awaits sporty skiers there!

The Nassfeld ski resort is situated directly at the border to Italy! Meaning Italian nonchalance, delicious Alpine-Adriatic culinary delights with the best of the Italian and Carinthian cuisine and of course the unique southern flair.

With a plus on hours of sunshine and guaranteed snow-reliability, a skiing holiday at Nassfeld is always an experience for sporty skiers and families. The sun accompanies you all day long on the 40 pistes. And yet there is plenty of snow throughout the season every year thanks to the special microclimate here! And if Mother Hulda is busy elsewhere, then we have our snow guns providing 100% of snow-reliability on all pistes.

But the Nassfeld-Pressegger See Region also offers many other things in winter! One of the most beautiful toboggan runs in the Gailtal Valley starts directly in front of the castle. You get the toboggan of course directly here from us.

Cross-country ski tracks are located idyllically in snow-covered slopes along the Gail river, directly at Nassfeld or in the Gitschtal Valley. Lake Weissensee – a pearl of nature – with an amazing ice rink of turquoise blue ice is also a unique cross-country ski area and is only a few kilometres away!
