In the middle of the Lerchenhof Castle power place at the Bienenplatz'l, we immerse ourselves in the world of bees and learn the secrets of a bee colony directly at the beehive. We will discover how nectar and honeydew are turned into the bees' gold, honey. But a bee colony has much more valuable things to offer: Bee pollen, bee bread, propolis and wax are just some of the bee specialties that, like honey, can also be processed. After visiting the apiary, we taste forest honey, blossom honey, mountain honey, pollen and perga. We prepare a honey mixture and make our own personal oxymel. There will be valuable information on the healing effects of bee products and their use in the kitchen.
Included services:
Insight into the beehive and the life of bees
Introduction to apitherapy
Bee products in the medicine cabinet
Bee products in the kitchen, honey mixture
