There is a reason why we called IT “Lucky Pig”!
Lucky are the pigs which are reared in a natural way and grow to become real beauties here on the Lerchenhof farm. “Time is money“ – not when it comes to the production of this fine product at our butchery. Because we put great emphasis on time, we produce bacon with maturing time under motto ”Give the product time“!
The essential ingredients barley, corn and meadow grass or hay are grown and harvested on our farm – GM-free, of course! Learn how the basic product is handled and about the use of special spices. You produce YOUR own bacon within 3 days under the supervision of our expert and master butcher Hans Georg Fercher. After your participation in this programme, you receive a “Bacon Certificate“ and – after sufficient maturing time (around 6 months) – we send the bacon you made to your home address. “Aren’t you lucky“!
