Marcell Kunej is the creative head in our castle kitchen. Together with the junior chef of the castle Johann Steinwender they are both masters in their field and convince with his light, regional and seasonal way of preparing products. Tradition is not boring here; unique dishes with distinctive charm and special nuances of flavours are created with amazing sophistication and ingenuity.
The philosophy at our Hotel Schloss Lerchenhof is easy to understand. Served is only what is homemade, seasonal and where there is absolute certainty of knowing where the products come from – the farmers of the region. Especially the products from our own farm have their very own charm. The original Gailtal Valley Bacon – matured here and perfectly combined with other bacon creations – offers a unique taste experience.
A sophisticated selection of wines, regional beer or fine spirits recommended by the lord of the castle himself perfectly complement the excellent cuisine.
