Er zeigt uns die Kunst der Reduktion von Formen. Keine Beschränkung, sondern ein klarer Fokus auf das Entscheidende. Es sind Präzisionswerke, die mit unglaublicher Geduld, viel Liebe und großem Können auf den Naturholzplatten entstehen – reduziert auf vier Farben. Seine Visualkunst ist eine Freude.Gemeinsam mit unserem Schloss-Team gönnen wir uns eine kurze Pause, um neue Kraft zu sammeln und gesundheitlich wieder ganz auf die Beine zu kommen.

The Nassfeld-Pressegger See region around Hotel Schloss Lerchenhof invites you to go hiking, cycling, or simply exploring the area by car, motorcycle, convertible, and more in the summer. Italy and Slovenia are only a few kilometers away, and Lake Pressegger offers great swimming fun.
Look forward to the nearby Nassfeld ski area, the natural toboggan run Guggenberg, and numerous cross-country ski trails right by the hotel in the winter. The Weissensee is perfect for ice skating and is just a short drive away.

Our house is run with love and whether with people, animals or machines, we place the greatest value on conscious, sustainable and dignified treatment. The fact that we can also supply Schloss Lerchenhof with our own green energy makes us unique. Through our circular economy, combined with regional value creation, we play a pioneering role in the “Most Sustainable Tourism Region in Austria”. In order to guarantee prospects for future generations, we are convinced ambassadors for an ecological approach to our nature. For generations, we have made it our mission to rediscover and understand the value for ourselves and our environment. Knowing the origin of our products, growing or refining them ourselves, appreciating the special quality - these are only fractions of our contribution. Dealing with guests, employees, nature, it is a challenge to recognize the big picture in each individual and to understand the importance of a healthy cycle for ourselves and the community. History
Shaped by time and generations, Schloss Lerchenhof and the Steinwender family have lived through different eras of development. An unprecedented love story gave rise to our unique history, which can be felt in all areas and places of the estate. Familiarity with our history is just as important as telling it. Storytelling as an important tool of our marketing is essential and deeply rooted in everything. Every product, every food, every employee, etc. has its own story and is therefore individual and valuable. Vacations, enjoyment and relaxation always start with a longing and end with a story.

Love happiness and sustainable success
The history of Schloss Lerchenhof is closely linked to a special love story. In the 19th century, the daughter of the then castle owner fell in love with the son and future heir of the Steinwenderhof. What began as a romantic connection was to shape the future of the estate sustainably:
Through the marriage, Schloss Lerchenhof came into the possession of the Steinwender family, who continue to manage and guide the operation today with great responsibility and foresight.
From the groundbreaking decision at the time, a successful family business developed over generations. The connection of two people laid the foundation for the development of Lerchenhof – from an agriculturally oriented estate to a modern, sustainably run castle hotel. To this day, family cohesion, hospitality, and responsible action are at the heart of the company.
At Schloss Lerchenhof today, four generations of Steinwenders live.

Our castle has 20 cozy and comfortable non-smoking rooms and apartments. We can accommodate 40 guests, allowing us to consciously and individually cater to your needs. Please note that there may be variations in the presentation of the rooms.
The spaciousness of the staircase with its stately and historic ambiance opens up the two floors at Hotel Schloss Lerchenhof. The ten rooms on each floor are accessed via a magnificent hall, which is lovingly and homely designed.
An elevator was and is not provided in the listed Hotel Schloss Lerchenhof.

Arrival and departure
Rooms are ready for occupancy from 3 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the rooms must be vacated by 11 a.m. at the latest. In the event of late arrival or early departure, the days will be charged in full.
Payment
Deposit: € 200,- per booked room. We accept tips in cash only!
Cancellation
If booked rooms are canceled up to 3 weeks before the arrival date, no cancellation fees will be charged. If rooms are canceled 3 weeks or more before the arrival date, the total costs will be charged. In the event of late arrival or early departure, the days will be charged in full. Each contract with us is an individual contract. Otherwise the provisions of the “Austrian Hotel Regulations” apply. The place of jurisdiction is Hermagor. We therefore recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance at start.europaeische.at/hsp&agencyNumber=501537.
